welcome to the house of ellington - about the things that inspire and ground me, culture, writing & art, & all of the beauty and tragedy that make up this life.

my name is pan ellington - writer / artist / outlaw landed in the bay area & transitioning out of a string of dead end waiter jobs, hopefully forever.

i published “fear & loathing as america burns,” a collection of my street photography and essays documenting the tr*mp years and am currently writing my second novel, "all apologies - the beginning of the end in the 1990’s,” a generation x queer coming of age tale, and a prequel to my first, “a f*cked-up fairytale - raves & rolling, my journey down the rabbit hole.”
